Anita

Hello everybody !

I am new on the Dyatlov Pass Forum and let me start to introduce me :  I am a french gramma from Montpellier in the South of France. In 1959 I was only 16 so when a friend of mine told me about the tragic story of the Dyatlov group, I was so sad for all these youngs girls and boys who didnt have the chance to live out their lives as me who had that privilege.

At once, I bought all the books on the subject to learn more and was surprised that only few people in France were aware of this tragedy.  Found out the FB page of the Dyatlov Pass Incident as well  , and therefore this forum, according to what I read, it seems very interesting.

Hi Anita! Was this event covered at all in the French press at the time? Or did it only become known in the West after the Fall of the Iron Curtain?

Hi, Anita!

Hi Anita! Was this event covered at all in the French press at the time? Or did it only become known in the West after the Fall of the Iron Curtain?
It's a very good question thumb1
We have some memories that  the Voice of America producted at least one  program about  Dyatlov's pass in 1959.
