The stove WAS NOT FOUND DISMANTLED AND IN IT'S CASE.  This is FALSE INFORMATION.  The stove was the cause of the whole "mystery".
Simple common sense. They would have HAD TO USE THE STOVE FOR HEAT. Of course childish conspiracy theorists here won't accept this simple fact. The exhaust stack is plainly visible in the photograph. The smoke backed up into the tent and caused the group to awake in a panic.

And we actually did land on the moon. And Oswald actually did kill JFK. And Trump lost. And 9/11 was not an inside job. All of the absurd nonsense that so many choose to believe in is just that. But it's much worse than just that. When people reject fact and instead choose to believe in and promote nonsense we're all in trouble because without a commonly understood and accepted frame of reference nothing is true. And everything is.

Any theory that identifies smoke from the stove as the trigger of the Incident needs to also explain (1) why the Dyatlov Nine abandoned their campsite after exiting their tent, since they only would have needed to wait for the tent to air out and the stove to cool; and, (2) why the search party found the stove in an undeployed state within the tent.  If panic really was what caused the Nine to abandon their campsite, then someone else must have taken down the stove, because it doesn't really make sense for at least one of the Dyatlovites to return to the tent after the stove had cooled, do the work of taking it down, and not use any of the lifesaving gear left behind in the tent.  In other words, stove-based theories aren't really viable without the involvement of an outside party.  Do you have some kind of cover-up conspiracy in mind?
