Nine Clumsy Oafs?

Hi Manti,

I agree, I do wonder if they tried to find a stream and wash , from there things went from bad to worse.

As for not taking the clothes/coats and equipment , i can only guess that they couldn't  carry them because of the spray. Plus they wouldn't want to approach the tent in case they got sprayed again.

Well they certainly were not clumsy oafs. They knew exactly what they were doing. They were confronted by a force which they could not overcome.

The reason they climbed the cedar tree may be to observe the tent. Because there is no more logical explanation. You must have an important reason to climb a 5 meter tree with bare hands and body at -10 degrees! The branches they broke were thick and large. It takes a lot of effort. They must be very tired. The only reason for this is whether the unknown Force coming into the tent is still there!!!

The probable event was as follows; The group collectively went to the Cedar tree. Here they went to the division of labor. The group of four, Semyon Dubinina Tibo and Kolevatov, even though they were best dressed and had shoes, took shelter in the snow cave by being a little selfish. Two of the survivors, Yuri, climbed up the tree and observed the tent. Not seeing the unknown coercive Force, they reported the situation to the other three. The other three, Dytlov, Rustam and Zina, moved towards the tent. After that, the Unknown forcing Force started to attack them and killed them. First Dytlov then Rustam then Zina then 2 Yuri then those in the snow cave......

Or maybe the bad boys were in the tree and came down to confront the hikers upon arrival in the woods. The story can be spun any number of ways. The mystery will likely remain so because there is not enough money in it. Books aremwritten, filmsmare made, articles written. The incident has been milked, sorry to say.
