The exact location of the tent site photograph in 1959 has been found. Of the 200 photographs taken in the winter of 2023 and 2024, the most suitable one has been selected. Now we know the exact location



This place differs from Buyanov's place by 200 meters. This is the most gentle slope of the Kholat Syakhl spur. There can be no avalanche in this place. Buyanov chose a place for his version that does not correspond to reality. His place is actually avalanche-prone. But this place was chosen specifically for the avalanche version. I am sure that Buyanov is misleading everyone.

1. In March 2023 and in the winter of 2024, more than 200 photographs were taken of the supposed location of the Dyatlov group's tent from different points, from different angles.
2. In the 1959 photo of the searchers, a vertical line was drawn strictly in the center of the frame (red line). This line runs along the location of the removed canvas tent.
3. In the same photo of the 1959 searchers, to the right of the central line, four peaks of the most noticeable outliers on the ridge in the background were marked with blue dots (these peaks are clearly visible in all modern photographs and the 1959 photograph. No one doubts their identity..
4. Since there are no noticeable outliers to the left of the red central line, the boundaries of the depression were marked, which is visible in all modern photographs and the 1959 photograph.
5. From the very bottom of the central red line, fan lines were drawn to four points of the outlier peaks and two points of the depression boundaries. The resulting landmarks for searching for a similar angle in modern photographs.
6. Over the course of one week, all the shots from 2023 and 2024 were viewed. Modern photographs were aligned along the horizon, relative to the photograph 1959. Modern photographs were scaled relative to the 1959 photograph. The same landmarks were applied to them as to the 1959 photograph. One single photograph was found that was the most suitable.
7. Two photographs (the found photograph of 2024 and the photograph of 1959) were superimposed on each other in a photo editing program.

The result is visible using the function of changing the transparency of one of the layers (all lines clearly matched):

The photo was taken on February 2, 2024. On the right side is the snowmobile of Exp-2024. Further to the right is the half-barrel tent in which they lived.

If Buyanov found an avalanche-prone place there, then you shouldn't rely on it as reliable information.
This is only necessary for his theory. The Ural Mountains within the Sverdlovsk region are generally not prone to avalanches.

In those places, a snowfall is possible - this is a 60% cliff at the source of the Auspiya River (the place that Dmitry Borisov discovered in January 2023), also a cliff in front of Otorten at the source of the Lozva River (Lake Lonely Goose) and other sources.

Avalanches begin to occur at an angle of 30 degrees. Or if a slope of 15-20 degrees is covered with slippery ice on which fresh snow has fallen. Was the slope where Dyatlov came covered with ice?

If you move 200 meters from the supposed tent site in any direction, the landscape is the same everywhere, and an avalanche will not occur there. In order to get buried there, you have to try specially for this, use shovels, dig the ground with an excavator or move snow with a bulldozer.

With the same success, you can achieve a landslide in the summer, if you try it really hard.
