I just saw this picture.. says his scapula was broken in three places... on the same side as rib fractures.. He had to be face down..
Sorry but, this eliminates the snow crushing him.. at least where he was found.

This is a localized injury.. They all are... It means they were attacked.. or a tree fell on them..something like that. They all have a single injury.. Cant be the snow..they would have multiple injuries..
-
Why face down? Why attacked?
I am all ears x
-
Because his scapula is broken.. Thats a thick bone..The injury had to come from that side..The pressure would have just crushed more ribs etc if from the front or side..The scapula took the largest force..
-
He was found on his side.

I cant see where you could break his scapula from the side..
So now the question is.. Why is he face down in the snow PRIOR to injury?

He's lying on his side, on hard ground. A couple of tons of snow fall on him. What's not to break?
-
Thats kind of the point. They should all have multiple injuries..
-
If the blow came fro the left it would have broken his left clavicle or shoulder..not his right.
His injury is from back to front..not left to right.
-
Do you think it was one event that caused all the fractures?
-
I dont know yet.. but, personally.. I think they were attacked..in the woods, Is that one event? I'd say so

"...he still could not answer the question of what exactly led to fractures of the ribs,"

Jon Benet Ramsey had a skull fracture without an external injuries too.. Like this, they didnt know about it till autopsy.. They think she was ht in the head with a metal flashlight. So..

That's just not the way these incidents work in reality. There are always things that seem inconsistent but can be explained if enough resources (including reconstructions) are done, but the investigators have to possess an imagination, for example, it may be that one or two of the "ravine 4" were being carried when then fell onto the rocky creek, though I don't think this is necessary, since there were plenty of possible injuries that could have occurred even before they even started back to the "den" and until a good reconstruction is done, it's all speculative. Therefore, a good investigator tries to put forth the most reasonable hypothesis. Then it needs to be tested.

A )Actually, this IS how it works.. Otherwise you would just have to wait for a confession..
B) You dont have enough facts or evidence in this case to even set up a recreation.
