Too, if it was an animal, I would be making my way back to camp holding a flaming torch, wouldn`t you?

My objections against wolverine involvement:

1. No beast traces found
2. Beasts are usually shy, they avoid direct contact with human
3. They were possibly preparing dinner before T zero (tent slashing accident). No food was touched. Making dinner and eating in group is
usually a joyful event, people talk to each other, tell jokes and generally make noise and use light (flashlight).  All this keeps beasts at safe distance.

Btw. I dont even believe they were moving to woods for firewood because it was very probably impossible to install heavy stove using only sky
poles on the slope of their last camping (unless it was staged as some DPI enthusiasts suggest)

No food was touched.
Do you mean by the hikers or by the wolverine?

There were "half eaten loins" found in the tent... I don't think anyone ever bothered to try to see if half eaten by humans or by animals.

I know nothing about wolverine, but I know something about cats and cat spray. You can't get that d!@#$d odor out. If wolverine is anything similar, it would have been noted.
