There hasn't been a forensic expertise on the photos of the footprints, this is the only thing that matters in court. I showed it to a traceologist who knows nothing about the case. He conducted all experiments necessary and the bottom line of his 20 page expert opinion is that the footprints in all three photos from the Dyatlov case files were left by people wearing shoes.
