The belonging of the found soldier's winding to a group of tourists was denied by Yudin, as well as by Ortyukov. Investigator Ivanov did not record the found thing anywhere. Dyatlov's group took shoe covers on a hike, which were easier and more convenient to use. The fact that the windings were used by the military and GULAG prisoners is confirmed and cannot be disputed.
