No, I mean half-naked. The two Yuris were the least dressed. That's why they were the hardest hit by the cold. These two were the purest and cleanest members of the group. Well, I suppose we will never know the exact state of dressing. Only what clothing they were found in. Seems extraordinary if they left the tent and went downhill such a long distance in just underclothing.

Yes, for sure, in a serious emergency, you flee however you are dressed. In this case, they got out of the tent and then continued downhill, not bothering to go back into the tent to retrieve any clothing or equipment.
