I was sorry to read that yesterday. May he Rest In Peace. I have read his name many times in books written by people who may have never met him but we all know that he contributed to the Dyatlov Pass Incident with the amount of verity allowed for that place and time.

Sad news. Many of us would have liked to meet him. And no doubt ask questions about the search for the Dyatlov Group.

Does anybody know if someone is going to pick up where Sharavin left off?  He really seemed to care about finding the answers to the Dyatlov mystery.
