Why they didn't unpack and light the stove?

The tent wasn't damaged by fire, and they ended up in the forest where they tried to survive. Presumably, they tried to make a fire to help them survive.

Well I suppose that the Dyatlov mystery is open to all possibilities. Even Biblical ones.
