Title: Dubinina
Post by: GKM on November 28, 2020, 04:45:29 AM
Her injuries appear to be the most horrific and that is worthy of consideration. I have read post that offer the theory that perhaps she was the primary target of man made violence. I have yet to find a theory I support 100 percent but her injuries are very questionable. Something or someone literally killed this young woman in brutal fashion. If she was "the target " what could she have done to induce such a killing rage? Being outspoken hardly seems worthy of that much violence. Seymon is often referred to as the most "mysterious member " of the group. I disagree. Luda holds that position, in my opinion only. No proof of course but that is nothing new in this case. It would be very interesting to learn more about her. Perhaps Teddy can use her genius mind and find out more about this 22 year old young woman who, obviously, died in agony.

this 22 year old young woman
She was only 20 years old when she died.  Dubinina was the youngest of the group.

I haven't found any reason to believe that her missing eyes and tongue were a result of human malice.  Much more likely that their absence is due to decomposition & the action of the running water.  If her broken ribs were a result of human intention, then I have yet to hear a theory that convincingly explains the pattern of breaks without surface bruises.  Autopsy stipulates that she was not sexually active at the time of her death, which obviously means she wasn't raped.

Well there is plenty of info in this Forum if you search for it.  Much of it relating to Dubinina.

1. We have no way to know the reason for Dubinina's missing eyes and tongue. Therefore, these injuries cannot be considered evidence of anything.

2. Her broken ribs were what could be expected from repeated elbow strikes from trained close combat specialists. Such strikes would not leave any bruises on the skin.

3. A similar reasoning is relevant for the crushed skull of Nikolay Thibeaux-Brignolle, which by the way shows a damage resembling the shape of a rifle butt. It has been stated that if Nikolay Thibeaux-Brignolle had been hit by a hard object, there would have been damage to the skin. That statement is deeply suspicious, because there would be no damage to the skin if his head was protected by some headgear. Nikolay Thibeaux-Brignolle wore headgear.

Although the Autopsies leave a lot to be desired, I would have thought that if Rifle Butts or Human Elbows were responsible for some of the injuries then it would have been stated. Also I very much doubt that Rifle Butts or Human Elbows caused the extraordinary injuries to Dubinina.

The highest Soviet authorities gave orders that the investigation be closed with the conclusion that the whole tragedy was an accident. The local police was prevented from investigating the tragedy as what it was - murder. When the investigation concluded that Thibeaux-Brignolle had not been hit by a blow since there was no damage to the skin, it was a revealing statement because Thibeaux-Brignolle wore headgear and this ensured that the skin was intact when the bone absorbed the impact and the skull broke. This was murder.

The injuries to Dubinina's body are fully compatible with hard blows. Also, there is no other possibility. There were no avalanches.

Avalanches would not have caused the skull fractures of Thibeaux-Brignolle and Slobodin. Nor could falls.

The injuries to the breast cages of Dubinina and Zolotaryov could not have been caused by falls or any form of natural accident. Human attack remains the only possibility.

Per Inge, totally agree.
