Semyon Kolotaryov's dental fake cap

When they exhumed Semyon's body and noted his lower jaw had a fake dental cap, it makes me wonder if Semyon was involved in some sort of espionage that would warrant him to have a cyanide capsule under a cap in his mouth in case he needed to commit suicide. Not sure if there would be any trace of this after all  these years. Just wondering since his identify appears to still be in question...
