Can anyone tell me what is meant by the word KHAN in the quote below:   "the young Khan" -- "They interrogated this Khan" ---

Yes I have read this. As I understood Khan = singular Khanty = plural. No I am not Russian.

Need text in Russian. Maybe your translation is incorrect. How was it written in Russian: "хан" or "хант" or "ханты"?

Han i also surname. Kolya Han was in prevoius winter expedition with Dyatlov, Bartolomey and Axelrod.
