Frames of fallen/slipped members of the Dyatlov group during the tour.

Under the menu item ‘HIKERS’ of the website Dyatlovpass.com, many photos of the ten group members are visible. None of these photos from other events show a fallen or slipped group member.

Film 3 from the group members on the website Dyatlovpass.com show one frame showing Zinaida a moment after she had fallen/slipped.

The films 6 and 3 show six frames showing Thibo after he had fallen/slipped: even film 3-16 had been taken while Thibo had requested for support to stand up again.

Zinaida and Thibo appear to be embarrassed after the fall/slide, see images below.

As far as known, this tour had not been a photo shooting session for Russian propaganda.
And even then: these photos do not fit the style of portraiture at the end of the 50th.

Wy had these frames - showing Zinaida and Thibo - been made in this manner?

I think it's because these hikers were human beings . As much as things might not seem perfect in the old USSR, they actually had fun and laughter. No different than taking a photo with our smart phones today. Just having a laugh I think. Possibly for their own photo albums
