Missing Moscow Hikers?

I have seen two articles in the media today that a group of eight hikers from Moscow have gone missing at Dyatlov Pass this week.  Has anyone seen whether this is confirmed ?

Well spotted. I havnt heard anything though and Iam sure Teddy would be one of the first to know of any such Events.

That was my thought, as well, that Teddy or someone nearer/in Russia would have seen it.  All the American media says is that they got the info "from Russian media sources." That's pretty suspect, lol!!!

A group of eight hikers from Moscow decided to head to the Dyatlov Pass. But since Tuesday they stopped communicating. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, they have now been found safe and sound - they are preparing to fly to Moscow. The alarm about their loss was sounded yesterday because the group was out of communication. As it turned out, the group was not registered.
“Now they are at the airport and are preparing to fly to Moscow. It remains to be seen why didn't they register, although they had to do this 10 days before the start of the campaign,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Sverdlovsk Region reported.

Sounds like quite an adventure for them!!  By all accounts, Dyatlov Pass is not a hike for the faint of heart.
