I also find it curious that with such elevated interest in the presence of radioactive materials on the deceased, those who actually spent far, far longer at the location, ate the food, drank the water and burned the wood, were not checked, and decontaminated. I agree that the record shows a Geiger Counter was used and mentioned in case files. Does not suggest cover up nor conspiracy to me. Does suggest that working in a facility which has radioactive material might leave a trace. I would believe the Geiger Counter was used to see if anyone pocketed pitchblende and if so would their diary tell where the deposit was found.
