Here in Hungary in '56 there was a revolution against the Soviet occupation. After that came the darkest terror and open reprisals.
The Hungarian people understood exactly what was happening and who the enemy was, but they were powerless against the Russian tanks.

After Stalin's death, there are already more consolidated conditions in the Soviet Union. The former terror is no longer present. But the memory of terror lives on in society. As it seems, to this day, the trauma of this is taking generations away.
I fully agree with you that the Gyatlov incident cannot be separated from the Soviet system! This disgraceful investigation that this Ivanov did here was not even an investigation, it was just the appearance of some kind of investigation, it can only be imagined in this system!

But I do not agree that Russian society would have accepted from the authorities such terrorist methods when they kill innocent young people and then lie about their deaths. This could only be done in open terror! Not in consolidated conditions anymore How would life go on at university, in the touring club, if something like this could happen? Society does not accept, they will not believe, lies about carbon monoxide poisoning v. about anything else. Perhaps this is precisely the reason why the case is closed without explanation! Because the authorities feel that they would generate resistance with a narrative that lies and no one believes! They also feel that terrorist methods cannot be used!
Also, let's continue to think about the possibility that the tragedy happened as a result of an act that the upper and national levels did not know about at all. The local and middle managers did something themselves that they did not have the authority and mandate to do. And that's what got the problem. And now they have to hide it in every direction. Also in the direction of their superiors - saving themselves. Also towards relatives and public opinion. They want to get away with it, not generate additional tension with terrorist methods! This concept is also some kind of answer to the argument that so many secret things have already been revealed among the dark affairs of the CCCP, so why don't we know the truth about the Gyatlov incident? That's why, because it was a local matter, middle managers' own action accidentally caused the tragedy. And they didn't know about it on the highest level, and the matter was covered up on the middle level. There is nothing to reveal, because there is no trace of it at the national level - they only know the hidden version.
The memory of the victims obliges us not to talk nonsense!

The problems you raised have already been refuted, despite this, you ignore them and come up with them again!

On the contrary, you never answer the problems raised!

ex:

How can prosecutor Ivanov hand over the film negatives found in the cameras, in which the solution of the case concerning the 5 dead bodies found at the time can be documented, to unauthorized persons, by developing the film negatives, thereby risking the final destruction of the evidence without knowing their content?

How does Prosecutor Ivanov know that the two pictures of the digging of the tent site, which are _not_ on any of the film negatives that have been inventoried, are the last pictures?

How does Prosecutor Ivanov know which cameras these two pictures were taken with?

Why do you pretend that it is valid to refer to the absence of traces in the case of strangers, when the traces of hikers leading from Auspiya to the tent site and between the cedar and the den are no longer visible on February 26?

I can answer these questions!

Dear Bongyi.

You never answer a single question, not one. You scatter about claiming the case can't be solved, there for it's a conspiracy. I do get annoyed sometimes but you offer nothing , no thinking , no logic , no understanding of physics , snow , wood .

As much as the soviet union was hard and brutal , it was also generous and forward thinking. You claim you know because Hungary experienced it. I know people that left the UK , love Hungary and want to join Russia.

The west was as brutal in 1959 , the UK was brutal , it treated sections of the population with total disregard to welfare and well being.

Winter hiking accidents happened in the UK , Russia and the rest of the world, many lack details or carry the same patterns .

All questions can be answered, he handed over the films as they weren't deemed important, it was seen as death from a hiking accident, no one arrived there looking for a murder , that's the difference.

The photos are largely thrown in to the case after the investigation.

The traces of the hikers exist in the forest through fires , cut trees, snow trails , the labaz . Traces exist all around dyatlov pass of other people and animals,. The weather erodes the trails on the pass . It's why the raised foot prints are so unique in their existence highlights the hikers being the only people there.
