While looking at maps etc. for another thread ( https://forum.dyatlovpass.com/index.php?topic=909.0 ), I have noticed there is a mark on one of them at these coordinates: 61.73927, 59.47165, labelled Lozhka (Ложка). Is this a guesthouse that didn't exist back in 1959? Is this a Mansi house? This is directly next to Auspiya river, south / southeast of the pass.

where one of the hikers made models of all sorts "tabletools" out of trees.

In the first photo you can see the size of this "spoon" compared as Vitaly Gavrichev. Next to the spoon (in the second photo) lies a "fork", a "knife" and a "corkscrew". This exists as kind of local amateur wooden sculpture.  grin1
Travelers often stop at this glade before crossing the valley and tributaries of the Lozva River, or going out on top of the main ridge of the Ural Mountains. And on the way back. At this point in the summer, you could meet group of travelers almost every day before the coronovirus pandemic.
Of course, this was not the case in 1959, but the group of Dyatlov did not visit this place either. They walked at least 2...3 distances from it, higher up the slope.
