What is the exact date of that interview? And should that date not be included therein? Both the copyright date shown (2013) and the ending text of "October - November 2013" must be wrong since the interview discusses events that occurred in 2014.

Here is the source. At the top it says:
Published 14/11/2013, Updated 01/03/2015.

Page 5: M.Sharavin: When we found a tent and during the next day the weather was not bad. On the 26th on the pass there was a wind, but moderate. And on the 27th there was even sunny weather. The temperature was not more than 15°C (59°F).

It is very high temperature. Such temperature I observe now behind the window. Is is incompatible with snow!

Thanks. Since the original referenced things that happened after 2013 at least three times, many people who have read it will assume either the translation is wrong in those three places or the 2013 date of the article itself is wrong. The solution is to include the published/updated dates that are in the Russian version in the English version.

When I notice things like this, and typos, and other things that need to be fixed, should I post a New Post like this, or instead send the info directly to someone so that other people are not bothered by reading a New Post about it?

I did this before even answering you. It was an omission that you caught, thank you for paying attention. This helps a lot.

Page 4: What is this stick nailed to tree trunks? What is there so interesting captured the attention of the investigator, what is Ivanov photographing?

I laughed at this. This is the horizon line.

Well spotted.

This is probably another example of authors exaggerating reports from half truths. That would have to be a giant nail. It would good to know where that speculation started.

It just goes to show how much nonsense blurs this mystery.
