Everyone and Teddy:

I know, we have different theories of how all 9 hikers died, I believe it was murdered and their was "STAGED" in different areas...and Doroshenko and Krivonischenko both were in heated confinement, which was the "Tent" or the event was a "HUGH" network, inwhich I believe "Pashin" was involved.  in the Documentary " An Unknown Compelling Force" the Prison woman doctor/investigators explains alot regarding the "TENT" but she also says, The tent that was found was not the "Tent" they were killed in?

I apologize, usually I have images...both Yuri's were in a heat confinement prior to found in snow...Yuri K. stomach is neutral color, not blackened as if was in the cold, as his hand, Yuri D. skin is also neutral color ....

Can we consider that everyone left the tent on 1079 and made it to the ravine. From the ravine, the two Yuris volunteered to bring firewood. First one, then the other got injured. After a while, other hikers went to check on them and found them but could not help.  Clothing was cut for survivors.

This cutting away of clothes argues against murder. First, they would not kill each other without reason. The reason would be associated with the corpses.  Second, other assasins would use a method of killing that is not identified in autopsy. Third, taking of clothes is a survival technique, not a degradation of the corpse. Fourth, positioning of the remains suggests respectful placement with the expectation of recovery of the remains.

An assasin's work is to both eliminate a target and send a message. The Yuris do not meet the criteria. If they were found fully clothed, assassinations could be considered.

If one argues that assasins baited the ravine 4 with the two Yuris at the cedar in order to find where they hid, it is logical. If one further speculates that a concussion grenade was used on Zolo, Lyuda and others, it fits. If one believes Igor, Rustem and Zina tried to make a run for the tent and dies, it fits.

The elephant in the room is that no eye witness nor physical evidence exist confirming those circumstantial arguements. Just because something is logically consistent,  does not mean the the premises are true. Alternate explanations requiring fewer assumptions are equally logical. These would revolve around weather.

Ms. Smith puts it correctly when she reminds us that we have many theories to work through. We also appreciate that speculation is not a breakthrough. It has been like that for half a hundred years.

Kathleen, this forum member welcomes your thoughtful remarks. Our disagreements and refinements make the forum interesting. The few members whos zeal makes them verbally combative is unfortunately an occurence.

You might agree that every stone has been turned over in this case. Those who opt for any one ith the numerous theories can find enough in the case files to support their idea. The diffuculty is, on the one hand, theories need to account for all those discrepancies that get ignored. Secondly, since the case depends largely on second hand information and those people who are the source, have filtered  what they saw and heard, their testimony and recollections may be a source for discrepancies in the case files.

The how of it is easier to sleuth than the why of it.
We don't have to say everything that comes into our head.

Then show us more and don't worry about whomever. Personally, Kathleen, I think there was a basic meltdown in the tent. Set aside snow slabs which are certainly plausible as the first event. IF the tent was cut from the inside I think it was because Igor lost it. The pictures of the two main infractors you have noted. Ignore the trolls and express yourself.

Everyone and Teddy :

I do believe all 9 Hikers were murdered, if you scroll downward of the photos I sent, you will understand what the Autopsy report found:  Liver Mortis :

AI Overview
Learn more
Livor mortis is a Latin phrase that translates to "color of death." It refers to the purplish-blue discoloration of the skin that occurs after death.
This discoloration is caused by the pooling of blood in the lowest parts of the body due to the cessation of the heart's pumping action. As gravity takes effect, the blood settles in areas such as the back, buttocks, and feet, creating a characteristic pattern of discoloration.
Livor mortis is a valuable forensic indicator that can help determine the time and position of death.

I will send the image

Thank You

That's broadly my final conclusion. Though I think a mutinying Semyon and co were prevented from leaving by the others blocking the tent flap, so they cut their way out, and this precipitated the later hypothermia setting in at the tent which saw the rest abandon it in a descending state of disorientation.

I was always looking for a reason why Semyon had that camera around his neck, a family heirloom, it was one of the most puzzling details, but if he was at war with the others and not coming back then he takes it.

4 of them were most likely murdered, by the remaining 3. To obtain the den and attempt to save themselves after a fire failed and two of their number had died.

My memory is shot. I could do with some help on this one.

I agree that zolotaryov was reported to have a camera on him when found in the ravine.  I can't find it in the case files yet . I took it for granted he did.

Can anyone with better knowledge fast track the link?

Thanks Glennm.

My problem with that link is that it's just someone saying he had a camera around his neck . It looks like it might be a camera case but I can't remember if it's mentioned in the case files .

I'm sure I had this resolved in my head but I can't remember.  Is it just a myth that Zolotaryov had a camera on him because of the photo of him looking like he has a camera case ? If they were excited about a notebook , they would also be excited about a camera but I can't remember reading anything about it.

In Zolotarev's photograph from the ravine there is a camera case. But whether there was a camera in it is a question. The mounting bolt is unscrewed.

There is a possibility there, Semyon and Igor start a fight, blocked at the exit, rip open the tent to get out. Kiss and make up then march off down to the ravine, the two of them split up, Igor chases Rustem and Zina whilst Semyon has killed the two Yuris by chasing them up a tree and watching them fall, he then takes Lyudmila and the others to the ravine where he murders them using his camera strap and then murders himself whilst taking a selfie of himself doing it. Hence Pic 33.  Case solved.

You're close, but one person couldn't do it all.

OHNO Suri you're breaking my, you turned to the dark side. Nooooooooooooooooooo. No murders nooooooooooooooo, they were all nice people.
With the exception of Zolo whom I have never liked.
Now how can two grown men 6ft tall stand up in a 3ft tent and play fisty cuffs, there was no mention in their inventory of taking a Monopoly Game with them. At least they would be gentlemen and step outside and not kill everyone inside the tent.
This was 1959 they were students, intelligent people who had bankrupted their parents to take an arts degree. No murders please. You want these United States people to think we are uncouth. No murders please.
Now we have sorted that out do you have any other theories.
